The hotel sits on a main road just 3-5 minutes on foot from JR Ueno Station (Iriya gate) and Keisei Ueno Station (9 minutes for the Skyliner to Narita Airport). From the property, Ueno Park and Ueno Zoo are a 12-minute walk, and Tokyo Skytree and Yasukuni Shrine are a 15-minute drive. The surrounding area is densely packed with convenience stores, casual restaurants and bars within 0.5 km. The neighbourhood is lively during the day but quieter late at night, so plan evening meals accordingly. Public buses to Senso-ji temple and other sightseeing spots are nearby, and many central Tokyo destinations (Ginza, Akihabara, Asakusa) are reachable by metro in under 20 minutes.

All rooms are carpeted and air-conditioned, equipped with a Simmons bed, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, refrigerator, desk, and complimentary toiletries including toothbrush set, slippers, pyjamas and hairdryer. A trouser press is available free of charge. The private bathroom includes a bathtub, shower and toilet. Room sizes are typical for budget Tokyo hotels - tight for two adults with luggage, but workable. Some rooms on higher floors have a view of Tokyo Skytree. Rooms facing the main road may experience traffic noise, while interior-facing rooms tend to be quiet. Wi-Fi speeds are generally fast and stable. The overall interior is clean and functional but basic; the elevator serves all floors and is open 24 hours.

The hotel does not operate a restaurant or serve breakfast. A vending machine offering drinks is available on site for quick refreshments. The immediate neighbourhood is dense with dining options: Japanese soba, udon, ramen, yakitori, Italian pasta and casual cafes are all within a 0.5 km radius. Convenience stores such as FamilyMart and 7-Eleven are also nearby. The Ueno station area itself has a wide selection of eateries, from cheap eats to mid-range restaurants. For those arriving very late at night, note that most nearby restaurants close by 22:00-23:00, so plan ahead or pick up food earlier in the evening.

There is no wellness centre, swimming pool or fitness facility on the property. However, Ueno Park - one of Tokyo's largest green spaces - is a 12-minute walk away and offers walking paths, museums, a zoo and seasonal cherry blossoms. The hotel's location also puts Asakusa, Tokyo Skytree and the Edo-Tokyo Museum within easy reach by foot or a short train ride, providing ample leisure activities outside the hotel.

The 24-hour front desk can assist with deliveries and basic requests, though English proficiency varies among staff; a translation app can be useful. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. A coin-operated launderette with a dryer is located near the front desk, and luggage storage is offered from the morning of check-in day and on check-out day until departure (same-day only).
