HOTEL WALLIS BY ANS, Munich

Rooms are decorated in cheerful colours and include seating areas, wardrobes, and heating. Deluxe rooms add a capsule coffee maker. Street-side rooms have air conditioning; other rooms do not have AC but may have a small balcony (not guaranteed). All rooms come with a private bathroom equipped with either a shower or bathtub. Note that housekeeping is not automatic-you must request it at the reception. If you are sensitive to noise, request a room on a higher floor or at the back of the building, as street-facing rooms can be affected by traffic and nearby nightlife. The hotel has one lift and seven floors; luggage storage is available free of charge for early arrivals or late departures. Some rooms overlook a shop with street-level displays; if this might bother you, ask for a different view at check-in.

The breakfast buffet includes pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, and Bavarian specialties such as potato salad and hard-boiled green eggs. The hotel also operates a bar in the evenings, and packed lunches can be arranged for day trips. There is no restaurant on-site, but the surrounding streets offer a wide range of dining options within a 5-minute walk. Breakfast is complimentary when booked directly with the hotel; otherwise it costs €17 per person.

The 24-hour reception can assist with express check-in/out, tour bookings, and safety deposit box (free). Laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing are available for an additional charge. Private parking on site requires reservation and costs €24.90 per day (height limit 2.10 m). Pets are allowed for €15 per night. The hotel is fully non-smoking (smoking permitted on balconies where available). Daily housekeeping can be arranged on request. Business facilities (fax/photocopying) are available for a fee. The property features a shared lounge/TV area and a sun terrace. No airport shuttle is offered.
