WALZHOFER APARTEMENT, Vienna

The property is located behind the Rathaus and Volksgarten, placing the MuseumsQuartier, Parliament, and the Inner Stadt within easy walking distance. The immediate area has a supermarket and several restaurants within 200 metres. Public transport is excellent: the underground station (Rathaus) is a short walk, and the tram stop right outside the building connects directly to the city. For drivers, paid garage parking is available at Rathausquartier (€21/day) and street parking is easier on weekends; a Park & Ride at Aspernstrasse metro station offers cheaper all-day parking (around €4 for 24h) with a direct metro connection to the apartment. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe despite being central.

Each unit has two separate bedrooms with comfortable double beds, a living room with a dining area, a private bathroom with a bath, and a separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, electric kettle, drip coffee maker, and all necessary cookware and utensils. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, free high-speed WiFi, air conditioning, heating, and an iron/ironing board are provided. The apartments are located on the top floor (5th) but are served by a lift, though there are a few steps to reach the lift. No balcony is available. The rooms are quiet, clean, and well-lit, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The layout is practical for families or two couples sharing.

The property does not operate a restaurant, so all meals must be prepared in the apartment or eaten out. The fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, and coffee maker makes self-catering easy. Several supermarkets, including a Billa, are within a few minutes' walk for groceries. The surrounding area is dense with dining options: Café Eiles, Restaurant Fromme Helene, and Dabov Specialty Coffee are all within 0.5 km. A bakery with vegan breakfast options (Strock) is also nearby. For those who prefer eating out, the MuseumsQuartier and city centre offer a wide range of restaurants. No breakfast included or available on site.

Free high-speed internet (45 Mbps) is sufficient for HD streaming and video calls. The host provides a paid airport shuttle service (€38 one-way) and is responsive via WhatsApp. Self-check-in via a door code is standard and instructions are sent in advance with a video guide. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, allowing for a full day of sightseeing. Parking is available at a nearby public garage (€21/day) or at a Park & Ride (from €4/day). No pets are allowed and the property is 100% non-smoking. Cots can be provided upon request. Housekeeping is not included during the stay, but the property is clean upon arrival. The lift is small (max 2 people) - consider this for very large groups or heavy luggage.
