WEBER HOTEL, Amsterdam

The hotel is on a lively street with bars and nightlife, making it ideal for those who want to be in the centre of the action. DeLaMar Theatre is less than 50 metres away, and Vondelpark is a 5-minute walk. A tram stop directly outside provides quick access to Centraal Station (about 25 minutes on foot or a short ride). The Anne Frank House is a 15-minute walk. The airport is a 35-minute bus ride to the city centre plus a 3-minute walk. Several supermarkets (Albert Heijn) and many restaurants are within a short walk. Rooms facing the street can be very noisy until the early hours, so a courtyard-facing room is preferred for quieter sleep.

Accommodation at Weber Hotel consists of small to medium-sized rooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom with a shower (some with a walk-in shower). Many rooms are very compact - adequate for a city break but tight for two people with luggage. Rooms facing the street have large single-glazed windows that let in significant street noise from bars and traffic until 3-4 am, so those seeking quiet should request a courtyard-facing or ground floor room. Heating is provided, but some rooms can be cold in winter due to draughty windows. About 40% of rooms have air conditioning; others have a fan (fans available on request). The property has no lift and very steep, narrow stairs; staff can help carry luggage. Some rooms have sloped ceilings or are located in the basement.

The hotel does not offer breakfast, lunch or dinner. A vending machine is available for drinks and snacks. The surrounding area - Leidseplein and the city centre - is packed with cafés, restaurants and bars within a few minutes' walk, so finding a meal or morning coffee is straightforward. Wine and champagne are available at an additional charge. The property provides a welcome drink and a free drink ticket for the bar opposite.

There is no on-site leisure or wellness facility. The hotel's prime location places it steps away from the vibrant Leidseplein, Paradiso, and the Melkweg music venues, as well as the museums and parks. Bicycle rental is available for an additional charge, a popular way to explore Amsterdam.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. Luggage storage is offered free of charge at reception (open 09:00-18:00), until 18:00. The reception is staffed from 09:00 to 18:00; after hours, a self check-in kiosk in the hallway allows arrivals. A night porter is on call for assistance 24/7. The property is adults-only, non-smoking throughout, and no pets are allowed. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers, key card access, and smoke alarms. Parking is not available. Laundry service is not on site but nearby options exist. Accepted payment methods: American Express, Visa, Maestro, MasterCard.
