The hostel sits right beside the Sumida River in a quiet residential neighbourhood that still feels central. Honjo-Azumabashi station (Toei Asakusa Line) is a 4-5 minute walk and offers no-transfer service to Haneda Airport, as well as direct Keisei trains to Narita (around 90 minutes). Tokyo Skytree is 700m away and Asakusa's Senso-ji Temple about 1km, both easily reached on foot. The nearest metro also gives quick access to Akihabara, while Shibuya and Shinjuku require a change of line. A Family Mart convenience store is 20m from the entrance, and several casual restaurants and a supermarket are within a 5-minute walk. The area is flat, quiet at night, and feels safe - but the building is directly under an elevated train line, so outdoor sound levels are high and audible noise enters the rooms.

Private twin and double rooms face the river or quiet street and include a sink, air conditioning, heating, and a hairdryer. They are spacious by Tokyo hostel standards, with enough room for luggage. Dormitories hold 14 beds each with a lockable locker (about 30cm square), curtain for privacy, individual light, USB charger, and dedicated shelf. The bunks have a staircase design so the lower occupant isn't disturbed. Rooms on upper floors are accessible by lift. Dorm rooms may feel cramped with little floor space for suitcases - the bottom bunks are low to the ground, making under-bed storage difficult. Temperature and ventilation can be inconsistent; some rooms have been noted as damp, stuffy, or affected by strong air conditioning. The pillows are a firm, hay-like fill which some find uncomfortable. Close the curtains fully at night, as light from adjacent bunks is not fully blocked.

The on-site café/bar is open during the day and evening, offering coffee, alcoholic drinks, and a rotating short menu - dishes like chicken curry have been noted as worthwhile. The lounge area is a comfortable spot to work or socialise during café hours, but hostel guests may not bring outside food into the lounge. An upstairs balcony with fold-up tables and basic chairs is available for eating; it is located near the toilets, which some find unappealing. The shared kitchenette (second floor) includes a microwave, refrigerator, and electric kettle, and is useful for preparing simple meals. The nearest supermarket (Life Supermarket) is a few minutes' walk away, and a Family Mart is next door for snacks and drinks. Breakfast is not provided; the café opens at 11:00, after the 10:00 checkout.

The ground-floor bar/cafe functions as the main social hub. Free live music and DJ sets are held on certain nights, giving the hostel a sociable, local vibe. The lounge area has comfortable seating and a view of the canal and Skytree, making it a pleasant spot to unwind. Outside, the Sumida River promenade and the park across the road provide green space for a morning walk or evening stroll with a direct view of the illuminated Skytree. No pool, gym, spa, or other wellness facilities are available.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. A lift serves all floors, making the hostel accessible for those with mobility needs, and a toilet with grab rails is provided. Security features include 24-hour CCTV, key-card dorm access, safety deposit boxes at reception, and a security alarm. The shared bathrooms are separated by gender with showers, hairdryers, and free shampoo/conditioner/body wash. A coin-operated washing machine (300JPY per load) and an iron are available. Check-in is from 15:00 to 23:00 (late check-in until 01:00 for 1000JPY surcharge, with advance notice required). Checkout is strictly 10:00. Same-day luggage storage after checkout is permitted but at the owner's risk - no storage is available before check-in. No parking or bike storage is provided on site; bikes can be parked at the convenience store next door at the owner's risk.
