Passeig de Gràcia shopping area is also a 10-minute stroll. The surrounding streets are filled with restaurants, bars, and cafés. The nearest beach is about 30 minutes on foot, and the Arc de Triomf metro station provides quick connections across the city. The entrance is on the first floor and requires buzzing the reception to enter; the building itself can feel dated inside.

Rooms range from twin rooms to large 16-bed dorms, all with shared bathroom facilities. Dorms are equipped with lockers - either under the bed or next to it - and some rooms have balconies with doors that let in fresh air. The property provides bed linen, but towels must be rented. Air conditioning and heating are available in all rooms, though some units may be less effective and noisy. Noise can be an issue from water pipes, the street, or other residents moving around at night, making earplugs a practical item to have. Rooms and lockers are basic; there are no curtains on the bunks for privacy.

The hostel does not have a restaurant, but it provides a fully equipped shared kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge, and microwave for self-catering.
