HOTEL SAGRADA FAMILIA, Barcelona

The hotel sits on a relatively quiet street just two blocks from the Sagrada Familia basilica, placing Gaudí's masterpiece and the metro station (L2/L5) within a 2-3 minute walk. The city centre, Passeig de Gràcia, and Avinguda Diagonal are reachable on foot, while Arc de Triomf and Glòries Shopping Centre are under 20 minutes away. A supermarket, bakery, and several tapas bars are immediately outside. For airport transfers, the metro is the cheapest option (Line 9 to Collblanc, then Line 5 to Sagrada Familia); the Aerobús takes about 50 minutes. Paid parking (€27/night) is available at a garage 200 metres away. The neighbourhood is safe and well-connected, making a car unnecessary for most visitors.

The hotel offers Single, Double/Twin, Superior, and Triple rooms, all with a maximum capacity of 3 people. Standard rooms are compact but functional; Superior rooms are larger and may have a balcony view of the Sagrada Familia. Each room includes air conditioning, parquet floors, a minibar, electric kettle, flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with shower or bath and hairdryer. Rooms facing the main road can be noisy, so light sleepers should request a courtyard-facing room. Mattress firmness and pillow quality have been noted as variable; extra pillows and mattress toppers are available on request. There are no interconnecting rooms, and no rooms have balconies. Family rooms can accommodate a cot (provided free) but a triple room is required for two adults and a child aged 15+.

The buffet breakfast includes breads, pastries, cereals, fruit, cheese, cold meats, yoghurts, hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, juices, coffee, milk, and herbal teas. It is available for €8 per person and can be added at check-in or when booking. The breakfast room can get busy and occasionally runs low on items, but the selection is considered good value for the price. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but the surrounding streets offer numerous tapas bars, pizzerias, and a supermarket directly opposite the hotel. A vending machine (drinks and snacks) is available in the lobby.

The rooftop terrace (solarium) features outdoor furniture and sun loungers, offering a direct view of the Sagrada Familia's towers. It is a quiet place to relax after sightseeing, though it has no pool, bar, or shaded area. Walking tours and local culture classes are available for an additional charge. There is no spa, gym, or swimming pool on the property.

The hotel provides 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi throughout, and free in-room safes. Luggage storage is free before check-in and costs €5 per piece for 2 hours after check-out; 24-hour lockers are also available for a fee. A meeting room (Pintor Joan Cruspinera Room) accommodates up to 40 people with screen, projector, flipchart, and coffee break service.
