THE ALBA HOUSE, Edinburgh

The bus stop right outside the door serves multiple lines, including the Airlink 300 from the airport, and provides a direct journey to the city centre in about 10-15 minutes. Princes Street and the Royal Mile are easily reached without needing a car. On-site parking is free but limited to a first-come, first-served basis, and additional free street parking is available on the side road with no time limits or permits. The property is also within walking distance of the Cameron Toll shopping centre and several local pubs and restaurants. For those travelling to the Royal Infirmary, buses 7, 8 and 49 provide a direct ten-minute ride.

Breakfast is offered for an additional charge and includes bread, pastries, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, and hot drinks. The hosts provide personalised recommendations for nearby dining options, including Union Eatery & Coffee, Delhi Diner, The Stables, and Edinburgh Food Studio, all within 0.5-1 km. There is no restaurant on site, so evening meals require a walk or a short bus ride to the city centre's wide range of eateries.

Parking is free and on-site but spaces are limited and cannot be reserved; overflow parking is available on the side street without permits. Luggage can be stored between 9:00 and 20:00, allowing exploration before check-in or after check-out. Daily housekeeping is provided, and security features include CCTV outside and a security alarm. Wi-Fi is free throughout. Pets are not allowed, and there is no laundry facility or airport shuttle service.
