Albany House sits on Harcourt Street, a 5-minute walk from the shopping on Grafton Street and the nightlife and historic streets of Temple Bar. St Stephen's Green park is at the top of the street, and Iveagh Gardens is a 1-minute walk away. The Dublin Express airport bus stops nearby, and the tram (Luas) runs directly along Harcourt Street, connecting to the city's main rail stations (Heuston, Connolly) and bus station (Busáras). Croke Park is a 30-minute walk or about 10 minutes by tram from St Stephen's Green. For car-free city access, the tram and the airport bus are the most practical options.

Rooms are individually styled with traditional Georgian features - sash windows, high corniced ceilings, and antique furnishings. The classic double, twin, and single rooms all have private bathrooms with walk-in showers. Triple rooms are also available, ideal for small groups or families. Room sizes vary significantly; some city-view rooms are compact, while rear-facing rooms tend to be quieter. A tea and coffee maker, electric kettle, ironing board (available at reception), hairdryer, and free safety deposit box are provided. Daily housekeeping restocks towels and replenishes tea/coffee. There is no air conditioning, but fans are available on request. Windows open (no screens), but rooms on the front of the building can be very noisy from Harcourt Street nightclubs and the tram until the early hours. Rear rooms are recommended for light sleepers.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, pastries, cheese, ham, fruit, yogurt, cereals, hard-boiled eggs, and hot drinks (filter coffee and tea). It is served in a pleasant high-ceilinged room at the front of the building. There is no restaurant on-site and no room service, but the surrounding streets offer a wide range of bars, cafés, and restaurants within a short walk - including several options within 0.5 km. The hotel does not serve hot/cooked breakfast items. The breakfast is available for a fee (around €5) and represents very good value for Dublin.

Albany House does not have a spa, swimming pool, or gym. For outdoor leisure, St Stephen's Green park is a 5-minute walk, and Iveagh Gardens is a 1-minute walk from the hotel. The surrounding area is ideal for walking tours, shopping on Grafton Street, and exploring Dublin's cultural and nightlife districts.

The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out (from 14:00, until 11:00), luggage storage (free, for early arrival or post-check-out), concierge, tour desk, and a safety deposit box. Daily housekeeping is included. A lift serves part of the building, but some rooms on the upper floors (over 3 levels) may require stairs - request a lower floor if stairs are a concern. Parking is not available at the hotel, but a discounted rate is offered at Q-Park St Stephen's Green (€20-25 for 24 hours, or €10 overnight 5 pm-10 am); validate your ticket at reception.
