The hotel faces St Stephen's Green and has a private garden that leads directly to the Victorian Iveagh Gardens. Grafton Street shopping is less than a 10-minute walk; Trinity College and the National Gallery are within 15 minutes on foot. Dublin's main attractions, including Temple Bar, St Patrick's Cathedral and the Guinness Storehouse, are all walkable. The nearest tram stop is a short stroll, and taxis from the airport take 25-40 minutes (approx. €35). The south side of the Green is noticeably quieter at night, making sleep easier than on busier streets.

Room categories range from compact single and cosy double rooms to spacious superior doubles, family rooms and suites. Standard rooms can be quite small, with limited storage and only one luggage rack, while higher-category rooms offer more space, views and comfort. Third-floor rooms were renovated recently. All rooms have private bathroom, flat-screen TV, heating, and an electric kettle. No rooms have air conditioning or a balcony. Some rooms have a seating area and desk. Road-facing rooms can be noisy; rooms overlooking the rear garden are quieter. No minifridge, but the hotel can store medication or small items.

Breakfast is available for an additional €19 per person and includes porridge, eggs, fresh juices, fruit, pastries, and a full Irish fry. Vegan and gluten-free diets can be accommodated with advance notice. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner, but a small bar serves bottled Heineken, wine, spirits, and mixers. A charcuterie plate or afternoon tea can be ordered in advance. Complimentary coffee and tea are available in the breakfast room, and water dispensers with mint or orange are provided. Many cafés and restaurants are within a short walk along Grafton Street and around St Stephen's Green.

The hotel's own garden and sun terrace offer a quiet retreat. The adjoining Iveagh Gardens provide expansive greens, fountains and a grotto for walks and relaxation. A children's playground and outdoor fireplace are available on site. The property has a picnic area and board games for family entertainment. No spa, pool or gym facilities are present.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The 24-hour reception can store luggage before check-in and after check-out. Porter assistance is available for luggage, especially on upper floors. Daily housekeeping is complimentary; laundry, dry cleaning and ironing are available for an extra charge. Safety deposit boxes, CCTV and smoke alarms are fitted.
