LH HOTEL ANDREOTTI, Rome

The hotel sits on a quiet side street near Termini, providing convenient access to train and metro connections across Rome. The area is safe and walkable, with numerous restaurants, bars, and a supermarket within a few minutes. For airport transfers, trains from FCO to Termini run frequently. Many historic sites are within a 20-30 minute walk, and bus stops are nearby for reaching the Vatican or other attractions. The location suits both transit travellers and those wanting to explore the city on foot.

Rooms vary noticeably: recently renovated units on the fourth floor are modern, spacious, and have reliable air conditioning and excellent water pressure. Older rooms on lower floors may feel dated, smaller, and could have noisy AC units, limited power outlets, and no electric kettle. Some rooms offer city views. Soundproofing is generally effective, but street-facing rooms on lower floors may hear traffic noise. The antique lift is operational. Daily housekeeping and fresh towels are provided. If comfort is a priority, request a renovated room and a quiet location.

The breakfast buffet offers bread, pastries, yoghurt, cereals, hard-boiled or scrambled eggs, and occasionally pancakes. Gluten-free bread is available on request. Coffee is from a machine and its quality can be inconsistent. The breakfast room may become crowded during peak hours. In-room breakfast can be arranged. The hotel has a bar where welcome drinks are offered, but does not have a full restaurant. Staff can recommend nearby dining options, and many eateries are within walking distance.
