APARTAMENTOS ACUARIO SOL, Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote)

Situated at the quieter eastern end of the resort, the apartments are a 5-10 minute stroll from the main seafront strip and the beach. The casino is 5-10 minutes on foot. A small supermarket is right across the street, and two larger Spar supermarkets are nearby. Free public street parking is available around the complex without a reservation. Lanzarote Airport is a 10-15 minute drive away. The complex has two separate blocks located on different streets, about a 1-3 minute walk apart; Block II requires walking up a small hill.

Apartments are clean, spacious and well equipped for self-catering, with an electric kettle, cookware, flat-screen TV and private bathroom with shower (a small number have a walk-in shower). Standard apartments face the garden or street, while Pool View and Partial View apartments overlook the pool and are located in Block II. Two-bedroom apartments sleep up to four people and are also in Block II. The apartments feel basic and dated, with straightforward furnishings and limited storage (one wardrobe). Air conditioning is not installed; portable units can be rented in advance by request and at an extra cost. The bedroom can feel compact for two people with luggage. Road-facing rooms may experience traffic noise at night, while those in the quieter block offer better sleep conditions. Ground floor availability can be requested but is not guaranteed.

Breakfast is available for €9 per person, offering a continental or full English/Irish option served at the table, with one hot drink and juice included. The on-site pool bar offers snacks, packed lunches, kids' meals and a special-diet menu (vegetarian and gluten-free) on request. The bar staff are described as very friendly and the food as good value for money. Wine, champagne and an à la carte evening menu can be ordered for an additional charge. For those wanting more variety, numerous well-reviewed restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk, including Bollywood Indian, Restaurante Miracle, Antica Trattoria di Verona and The Little Elm Restaurant.

Pool 1 is for adults in Block I. Pool 2 is another adult salt-water pool in Block II. Pool 3 is the children's pool in Block II with a shallow end. All pools are open year-round but are not heated. Sun loungers and umbrellas are free of charge. A rooftop solarium is available in Block I. A games room has a pool table (additional charge). Massage services (back, neck, foot) and beauty treatments (manicure, pedicure) can be booked for an extra charge. There is no spa or wellness centre. During the renovation period (28 March - 31 July 2026), only the adult pool in Block I and the solarium are available.
