Several restaurants and bars are within 300 metres. The immediate area has a busy, multicultural character with some street noise; rooms on the inner courtyard are significantly quieter. A construction site opposite has been noted for intermittent disturbance during daytime hours.

Standard rooms are functionally furnished with en-suite bathrooms. Comfort Rooms are larger and include a sofa. Quadruple rooms feature two single beds together and a sofa bed, and are located in the main building with lift access. Some rooms in the annex are accessed via a separate entrance and have no elevator to the first and second floors, requiring 15 steep stairs. Rooms on lower annex floors and those facing the street can experience noise from traffic, construction, and the breakfast area. Air conditioning operates only during summer months; at other times windows can be opened. All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, a minibar, flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Room cleaning is provided daily on request, though some have noted inconsistencies in servicing.

Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, German mini sausages, waffles, breads, pastries, gluten-free bread, cheeses, meats, yogurts, fruits, oats, juices, and coffee.
