THE BELGROVE HOTEL, London

The hotel sits directly opposite King's Cross and St Pancras International stations, making it ideal for Eurostar departures and national rail connections. Camden High Street and Camden Market are a 20-minute walk north, while Covent Garden is a 25-minute walk south. Madame Tussauds is 2 km away. The immediate area is well served by Tube and bus routes-the station entrance is at the end of the street. Restaurants including The Gilbert Scott, Decimo, and several casual options are all within 0.5 km, and a Morrisons supermarket is nearby for supplies. The hotel has no parking, but the Judd Street NCP is a few streets away.

The hotel offers single, double, twin and family rooms. All rooms are equipped with an electric kettle, tea and coffee supplies, a flat-screen TV, and heating; some also include an iron and ironing board. Double beds are approximately 1.2 metres wide, which is narrower than a standard double, so those used to a wider bed may prefer to book two single beds. Rooms with a shared bathroom are located only on the top floor, requiring a climb up four flights of stairs, and the toilets and showers are in the corridor. Basement and ground-floor rooms are available on request. There is no air conditioning-rooms are fitted with a ceiling fan instead. Some rooms face a busy main street and a nearby construction site, so rear-facing rooms are quieter. A communal fridge and microwave are available in the dining area for guest use.

No breakfast is prepared or served on site, and there is no restaurant or bar within the hotel. For a morning meal, numerous cafés and fast-food outlets are located within a few minutes' walk; popular choices include The Megaro, La Regina, and several others 0.5 km away. A Morrisons supermarket is also nearby for self-catering. The hotel provides tea and coffee-making facilities in every room, and guests can use the communal fridge and microwave in the dining area for snacks or reheated food.
