The hotel sits on a quiet street in De Pijp, filled with cafés, restaurants, and shops. Albert Cuypstraat metro stop (Metro 52) is a 5-minute walk, providing direct access to Amsterdam Central Station. The Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum are within a 15-minute walk. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is reachable in about 20 minutes by public transport via metro and train. The area offers a local experience away from the busiest tourist zones, yet many city centre attractions are walkable or a short metro ride away.

All rooms are simply furnished and include a sink and mirror. Some rooms have private bathrooms; others share a bathroom and toilet on the same floor. Shared facilities are cleaned regularly. Rooms come with fans, heating, a safe deposit box, and windows that can be opened. The Van Gogh-themed room is the only one with a balcony. Rooms tend to be compact, especially triple and quadruple configurations. All rooms were recently renovated. Due to the lack of a lift and steep traditional stairs, rooms on higher floors involve a challenging climb. The hotel is not recommended for guests with mobility issues or heavy luggage.

Breakfast is included and offers a continental/vegetarian/vegan buffet with two types of bread, brown bread, cheese, spreads, and boil-your-own eggs. The breakfast is simple but fresh and ample, providing a good start for the day. There is no restaurant or bar on-site, but the surrounding De Pijp district has numerous restaurants and bars within a short walk, offering diverse cuisines.

Wi-Fi is free and strong throughout the hotel. Bicycle rental is available for €8 per day, with free secure bicycle storage. The hotel offers luggage storage, lockers, a safety deposit box, and concierge service. Check-in and check-out are private. An oven and microwave are available but no full kitchen.
