Kapitein Anna is moored at the NDSM-werf, a creative district known for street art, galleries, and lively cultural venues. The free F4 ferry runs every 15-30 minutes from behind Amsterdam Central Station, with the crossing taking under 15 minutes. From the ferry stop it is a short walk to the ship. The property is 26 km from Schiphol Airport (best reached by train to Central Station, then ferry). Key landmarks include Scheepvaartmuseum (5 km) and Dam Square (4 km). The immediate area offers several bars and restaurants within a few hundred metres, including Cafe de IJ-kantine (0.5 km) and Pllek (1 km), as well as a supermarket (easy walking distance). Late-night transport continues with buses all night after ferries stop.

A buffet breakfast is served in the historic dining lounge; free coffee and tea are available 24/7; the bar is open until 10 PM.
Breakfast is a buffet offering bread, pastries, croissants, cold cuts, cheese, fresh fruit, and hot items such as scrambled eggs or omelettes made to order. Two spacious lounges and a sun terrace on both decks offer panoramic water views; cycling is available on site and in the surroundings.
The upper deck lounge features comfortable seating and a sun terrace where you can relax with complimentary coffee while watching boats and city skylines. The lower deck also has a shared lounge and TV area. Bicycles can be parked securely on the front deck, and the surrounding NDSM area is ideal for exploring by bike. The neighbourhood provides a large open-air street art gallery, cultural festivals, and several casual dining spots. The gentle rocking of the moored ship creates a unique, calm atmosphere for reading or napping.
