Hotel Details

Location

Located directly on the Atlantic Ocean, 2 km from central Myrtle Beach and less than 2 km from the Boardwalk.

The property sits on the beachfront within 2 km of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade, Family Kingdom Amusement Park, and numerous restaurants-over 40 within 2 km. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center is a 5-minute drive away, and Broadway at the Beach is 6 km or less. Airport shuttle service is not available, and the hotel's location is walkable for dining and shopping, though a car is useful for reaching farther attractions. The area can be noisy, particularly on weekends and during events like Mustang Week, with music from neighboring properties.

Dining

No on-site restaurant; breakfast and bar options are available at the poolside bar MIXX (seasonal) and at the nearby sister property.

Hotel Blue does not have its own restaurant, but a breakfast menu is available for purchase at Captain's Quarters, located one block south. The seasonal poolside bar, MIXX, serves drinks and is open during warmer months, typically until 5 pm or on weekends during the off-season. For other meals, there are more than 40 restaurants within 2 km, including fast-food and sit-down options. The property does not have a breakfast service directly on site.

Wellness and Leisure

Beachfront pools, hot tubs, and a swim-up bar; indoor and outdoor pools open year-round.

Leisure amenities at Hotel Blue include a large outdoor pool with a swim-up bar, an indoor pool, and two hot tubs-all open year-round. The property is directly on the Atlantic Ocean, and direct beach access is provided. At the sister property Captain's Quarters (half a block south), guests have access to several family-friendly pools, an arcade, and a fitness center. The lazy river at Hotel Blue was noted as not in use. The pool area has plentiful lounge chairs, but no umbrellas; beach chairs and umbrellas are not available for rent or borrowing. The pool bar is seasonal and may have limited hours.
