The hostel sits on a quiet street in the Grachtengordel canal ring, yet is just a short stroll from Leidseplein's nightlife, restaurants, and shops. Tram stops are a 3-minute walk away, with lines 2 and 12 connecting directly to Amsterdam Central Station (about a 30-minute walk or 10-minute tram ride). Metro line 52 at Vijzelgracht station is 2 minutes away, providing a quick link from Central Station. The museum district and popular attractions like the Anne Frank House and Canal Museum are easily reachable on foot, making the location ideal for sightseeing without needing public transport.

The hostel offers a range of options: single, double, twin, and queen private rooms, plus mixed and female-only dormitories (4, 6, 8, and 10-bed). All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower. Bunk beds have an open design without privacy curtains; each bed is equipped with a reading light and power outlet near the headboard. Large lockable storage drawers fit suitcases and are located under the beds. Rooms are heated and have a fan, but windows open only a few centimetres. Private rooms are small but clean and comfortable; dormitories can feel cramped, especially when full. The metal bunk beds can be noisy when moving. Towels and bed linen are provided free of charge; shower gel and shampoo are not supplied.

Breakfast is served from 07:30-10:00 in the common area and costs 7.50 EUR per person. It is a cold buffet with bread, spreads, cereals, juice, fresh fruit, and boiled eggs - a practical option for starting the day. The restaurant and bar are open in the evenings, offering classic Dutch snacks such as fries, bitterballen, and chickenwings (17:00-22:00), as well as burgers and a range of beers, sodas, and shots. A happy hour runs daily from 17:00-18:00 with two-for-one select drinks. No guest kitchen is available, but several cafés and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk for those seeking variety.

There are no wellness amenities on site. Leisure options revolve around the social spaces: the bar and restaurant provide a lively atmosphere, and the hostel organises walking tours, pub crawls, and sells tickets for attractions like the Heineken Experience, boat tours, and canal cruises. A board games/puzzles area and a sun terrace/picnic area are available for downtime. The underground club hosts events (contact reception for schedule). For outdoor activity, bicycle rental can be arranged at an additional charge.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. A 24-hour front desk handles late check-in and security. Free luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out - items are kept in a secure room but not lockable, so a padlock for bags is recommended. Daily housekeeping cleans rooms and provides fresh towels. The building has a lift.
