BRIX HOSTEL, Prague

BRIX offers adults-only accommodation with a bar, a shared lounge, and a garden. There are mixed and unisex dorm beds, and private rooms with and without ensuite bathrooms. Private rooms include PRINCE, TARANTINO, TYCHO BRAHE, FRANZ KAFKA, and STEVE JOBS. PRINCE sleeps two guests in a double bed and features a whirlpool bathtub and air conditioning. TARANTINO is a 2-4 guest, two-room air-conditioned suite with a private bath with shower, a television, and a lounge area with a double bed in the bedroom and a double sleep sofa in the lounge. TYCHO BRAHE is an air-conditioned room with a double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. FRANZ KAFKA features two twin beds and air conditioning. STEVE JOBS is a private room with two twin beds and access to shared toilet and shower facilities. Dormitory options include BOB MARLEY with standard bunks for up to sixteen guests and VIVIENNE WESTWOOD, a female-only dormitory with capsule bunks accommodating 7 guests. Capsule dorms like DR. SEUSS, ANDY WARHOL and SALVADOR DALI, each sleep 8 people in capsule-style bunks.

A buffet breakfast is served each morning, and beer, cocktails and bar snacks are available all day. Visiting chefs from Prague restaurants serve up simple but amazing and affordable meals in the garden during the summer months. There are two fully equipped kitchens. One is for general use and another is for guests in our private rooms. Bar Füd, Kavárna Pod Korunami Stromu, and Golden Egg are the recommended locations in the area for breakfast.

BRIX has in-house entertainment that includes Karaoke, Jam Session, Chess Club, DJ sets, and Concerts on the weekend. The bar serves as a venue for a variety of events including live music, performances, stand-up comedy, art exhibits, quiz nights, beer and wine tastings, and more. 'Atlantis' is BRIX' multi-purpose room, hosting yoga classes, pop-up hairstyling, manicure/pedicure and salons, tattoo artists, body piercing, massages and more. BRIX regularly exhibits the work of local photographers, painters and other visual artists. The garden is a favorite spot to meet old and new friends.

Brix Hostel is located in Prague 3, offering most of the cadastral area of Žižkov and parts of Vinohrady, Vysočany and Strašnice. BRIX is located 50 meters from the Rokycanova bus stop (bus 136 and 175). It is a five-minute walk from the Lipanská tram stop (trams 5, 9, 15 or 26). It is close to the Vitkov Statue. Main sites, such as Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and the National Museum, can be reached in 20 -25 minutes by public transport.

BRIX provides secure, off-street parking in an enclosed lot less than 100 meters from the hostel. Laundry service (wash/dry/fold) is available for 250 CZK for a load up to 7 kg. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. BRIX offers guests free towels and padlocks for our lockers on request. The hostel can assist with group bookings of 20 or more. There are opportunities for volunteering. BRIX features a spacious stage and comprehensive musical, audio and video equipment. This hostel does not accept American Express.
