Most restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping are a 10-minute drive north in central Islamorada; Marathon lies to the south. Windley Key Fossil Reef Geological State Park is 17 km away. The location is car-dependent - while the immediate area is quiet and secluded, you will need to drive for most dining and errands. No shuttle or public transport is available from the resort.

Units range from compact studios (sofa bed plus one queen bed, single room layout) to spacious suites with one or two living rooms, separate bedrooms, and up to two full bathrooms. All accommodations include a kitchenette with stovetop, refrigerator, oven, and cookware; tea and coffee maker; flat-screen TV with cable channels; seating and dining area; and heating. On the private beach (sandy, but the ocean is too shallow for swimming) guests can use chairs and umbrellas. Free activities include tennis and basketball courts (tennis equipment provided), and kayaks are available. Fishing is permitted from the shoreline and a small pier; a fishing bridge is about 2 km north. Board games and puzzles are available. The pool area closes at dusk - no evening access.
