The neighbourhood is safe and vibrant, with numerous restaurants and shops within two blocks.

All rooms include a work desk, coffee maker, flat-screen cable TV, complimentary toiletries, bathrobe, and an umbrella. Some rooms have kitchenettes with a stovetop, microwave, and mini-fridge; others are efficiency-style with a microwave. The standard room is compact, and adding a cot for a fifth guest makes the space tighter. Harbour-view rooms on upper floors provide better cross-ventilation and quieter sleep, while rooms facing the parking lot or street may hear traffic and compressor noise. The bathroom has a step-up threshold, which can be tricky for those with mobility issues. Beds vary in firmness; some find them comfortable, others report them hard. Pillows tend to be high. There is no air conditioning; each room has a tower fan, and windows open, but outdoor noise can be noticeable. Some rooms have parquet flooring instead of carpet. Interconnecting doors have thin walls so noise from adjoining rooms may be heard.

The on-site restaurant, Belleville's Premium Quality Watering Hole and Diner, is open every day for lunch and dinner (07:30-21:00). It offers American-style dishes, including vegetarian options and a kids' menu. The seasonal patio overlooks the Inner Harbour and is a popular spot. There is also a bar serving wine, champagne, and happy hour specials. Breakfast is not available at the hotel, but coffee is provided in the lobby.
