The property is on the beachfront at the heart of Waikiki, adjacent to Fort DeRussy Park. Waikiki Beach Walk, with dozens of restaurants (including Roy's Waikiki Beach and House Without a Key) and shops, is a 5-minute walk away. Diamond Head Crater Hiking Trail is less than 6 km away. Honolulu International Airport is a 20-minute drive. The area is very walkable, and public transit (trolley, bus) stops nearby. On-site parking is limited, first come, first served at $40/day; if full, the Fort DeRussy parking lot across the street is the closest alternative.

Units are individually owned and decorated, so décor and furnishings vary. Studios (sleep 2) have a kitchenette; 1-bedroom units (sleep up to 4) have a full kitchen; 2-bedroom units (sleep up to 6) have a full kitchen and two bathrooms. Most 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units have a sliding partition to separate the sleeping area from the living room - not a fully enclosed bedroom. Bedding (king, queen, or twin) is a request only and confirmed upon arrival. All units include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a private bathroom with a bath or shower, a TV, and a tea/coffee maker. Some rooms have a walk-in shower or a bidet. Upper-floor ocean-view units (floors 10-15) offer expansive views of Waikiki Beach and are less affected by street noise. Road-facing and park-facing rooms may experience significant early-morning noise from leaf blowers, traffic, and trolleys.

There is no restaurant or bar in the building. A small snack bar offers light bites. The property's full kitchens or kitchenettes allow self-catering. A grocery delivery service (Foodland Farms) is available - coupons for free delivery are provided at the front desk. The surrounding Waikiki area has a wide variety of dining options within a 5-minute walk, including Yard House, Starbucks, Roy's Waikiki Beach, and more. Breakfast is not provided.

Guests have direct, key-fob access to Waikiki Beach. Snorkelling equipment is available at no charge. On-site tennis courts are available. There is no swimming pool or spa. A surboard storage area is also available. Friday night fireworks from the nearby Hilton Hawaiian Village are visible from many balconies.
