Public transport - including BART and Muni stops - is within a 5-minute walk, and many restaurants and cafes are within 0.5 km. For guests without a car, walking to Union Square or the Ferry Building is feasible during daytime. The hotel offers free secured parking, which is a significant advantage in central San Francisco.

The property is a motel-style building with rooms arranged on balconies over the parking garage. All rooms include air conditioning, carpeted floors, a coffee maker, ironing facilities, and a hair dryer. Standard rooms lack a mini fridge and microwave - those are only present in executive rooms and suites. Executive suites have a separate living room; two-bedroom suites offer one bedroom with a door and another open to the living/dining area, ideal for families. Some rooms have a sofa bed. Rooms on upper floors require climbing two or more flights of stairs as the elevator is permanently out of service. Road-facing rooms experience more street noise.
