DOMUS CILIOTA, Venice

Breakfast is served in a large, clean dining room that overlooks the inner courtyard, where outdoor seating is available in good weather. The buffet includes bread rolls, croissants, sliced cheese and ham, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, juices, and a hot-drink machine. While the selection is sufficient for most, it is a continental-style offering without hot cooked items like omelettes or bacon. The breakfast is self-service and is included in the room rate. For variety, the hotel is surrounded by several restaurants and delis within a 2-minute walk, such as Ristorante San Stefano and Ostaria alle Botteghe.

A large inner garden with tables and chairs provides a quiet green space to relax after exploring the city. A first-floor terrace is also available, though it is not equipped with furniture. The garden can be used for al fresco breakfast when weather permits and is a pleasant spot for reading or simply unwinding. There are no on-site spa, pool, gym, or wellness facilities.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, noted as reliable for browsing but not suited for high-bandwidth work. Luggage storage is offered free of charge during reception hours (07:00-23:00), both before check-in and after check-out, and storage is in a locked room. Daily housekeeping is included and can be declined if preferred; towels are changed regularly. A meeting/banquet room, seating up to 20, is housed in the former chapel. The lift provides access to all floors. Express check-in/check-out is available. A concierge service and fax/photocopying are free to use. Security features include CCTV, key card access, and safety deposit boxes. No pets are allowed.
