ERIC VOEKEL BOUTIQUE APARTMENTS - BCN SUITES, Barcelona

The apartments sit in the sought-after Gràcia neighbourhood, just 2-5 minutes on foot from the Sagrada Família and a 10-minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia. Verdaguer metro station (Lines L4 and L5) is at the doorstep, providing direct connections to the airport via a train-to-metro route and easy access across the city. The area is quiet, safe, and residential, with numerous restaurants, cafés, souvenir shops, and several supermarkets all within walking distance. Many landmarks and Las Ramblas are also reachable on foot.

These modern apartments by Danish designer Eric Vökel feature a flat-screen TV, a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, electric hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, ironing facilities, and free WiFi. All units are air-conditioned, heated, and soundproofed, with private bathrooms (some ensuite, some adjacent). Bedrooms offer good firmness mattresses and hanging space. Apartments vary: one-bedroom units with a terrace and sofa bed sleep up to 4; two-bedroom, two-bathroom units sleep up to 4-5 with a sofa bed in the living room. Cots are available for babies. Some apartments overlook residential buildings; upper-floor rear-facing units are notably quiet. Units are spotless and well-maintained.

The property does not have a restaurant. Breakfast is not served, but each apartment's full kitchen-with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine-makes self-catering easy. Several supermarkets are within two minutes' walk for groceries. The surrounding streets are lined with a wide variety of restaurants, cafés, and bars, including Italian, Vietnamese, steakhouse, and local options, all just 0.5 km from the building.

WiFi is free in all areas. The 24-hour luggage lockers on the ground floor allow early arrival or late departure exploration without bags. Express check-in/check-out is available, with a self-check-in machine for arrivals after 18:00. A lift serves all floors and can accommodate a mobility scooter. Safety features include a safety deposit box, CCTV, security alarm, smoke alarms, and key access. Cots are free upon request. Cleaning is not daily; a free clean is provided for stays of 7 nights, and extras cost €30. There is no parking or shuttle. Reception is staffed daily from 09:00 to 18:00.
