The neighborhood is lively yet quieter than the immediate Ocean Drive strip, offering a good balance. Parking is off-site (see Operational Notes) - the hotel is best suited for car-free travellers or those comfortable with paid garage parking.

Room types range from compact double rooms to more spacious suites. The Fashion Suite includes a kitchen with dining table and an ensuite spa bath. All rooms have air conditioning, heating, a safe deposit box, and a telephone. Bed sizes include queen and king - some double rooms are snug for two people with luggage. Private bathrooms feature a walk-in shower (some with jacuzzi tubs). Window views vary: some rooms face the street, others look onto an interior wall or ventilation equipment, limiting natural light. Noise insulation between rooms and from the hallway is basic; light sleepers may want earplugs. The two-floor building has no elevator. Condition varies across rooms - some are updated, others show wear (dated bathrooms, stained linens noted). Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge.

Cafe Bastille is open daily 08:00-16:00, offering vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Breakfast is not automatically included in the room rate; it can be purchased separately. Nearby, within a 5-minute walk, there are many restaurants including Las Olas Cafe, YuGo, and Puerto Sagua. The free coffee and tea in the lobby are available 24/7. For dinner, a short stroll leads to Ocean Drive's many dining venues. The hotel's own restaurant is a convenient option for daytime meals.
