The location is also near a handful of local parks and marine attractions.

Rooms range from very compact Economy double rooms with a double bed and refrigerator to larger suites with separate bedrooms, full kitchens, and screened porches. All rooms include a private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, cable TV, and a coffee maker. For water views, only waterfront suites such as the Sailaway (queen sleeper sofa, kitchen, private patio) or the Paradise King (private porch) face the bay. Standard cottages, especially those near the highway, can be very small and affected by road noise. The property is overall clean with daily housekeeping, but interiors are older and some units have dated finishes. High-demand rooms benefit from early booking.

There is no breakfast service or on-site restaurant at the property. For meals, several fast-casual and sit-down dining spots are a 5- to 10-minute walk away, including Mrs. Mac's Kitchen, Bayside Grille, Snook's, and others along the bay. A variety of cuisine types - fresh seafood, Italian, Thai, sushi, and American - are available within the immediate area. A water refill station is available at the office, and vending machines offer drinks. Guests with kitchens or kitchenettes can cook their own meals using the on-site barbecue grills.

The property features a shallow, sandy-bottomed private beach suitable for wading and swimming. Three docks extend into the bay, each lined with Adirondack chairs providing a front-row seat to sunset. Free kayaks are available for guest use (typically two-hour sessions, life jackets provided). A fishing pier and the boat ramp allow for fishing directly on the water. Outdoor barbecue grills and picnic tables are positioned near the beach for casual meals. There is no pool or spa, but the beach and kayaks serve as the primary recreation options.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Free private parking is available for one vehicle per unit; additional vehicles, boats, or trailers incur extra charges. A boat ramp and three docks are accessible for a daily fee. Daily housekeeping provides clean towels and linens. Communal washers and dryers are available for guest use.
