Monterey Bay Suites, located 15 km from Myrtle Beach International in Myrtle Beach, SC, provides suites with full and partial ocean views. The angle ocean view suites, located on floors 10-15, feature either 1 king bed and a double-size Murphy bed or 2 queen beds and a Murphy bed, a living room with a sofa and sitting chair, a dining area, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a private balcony. The ocean will be to your left or right when standing on the balcony. These rooms are 596 sq feet (king suite) or 575sq feet (queen suite). Oceanfront suites, located on floors 3-16, feature a fully equipped kitchen, a separate living area with a dining table, and a private balcony. These rooms are 506 sq feet. Each beach-facing room features windows in the bedroom and living room facing the Atlantic. All suites and balconies are non-smoking. Some angle ocean view units are handicap units and some have sleeper sofas.

Monterey Bay Suites offers a complimentary hot deluxe breakfast served cafeteria-style from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. The daily rotation features assorted fruit, cereal, pastries, toast, scrambled eggs, grits, biscuits and gravy, a variety of breakfast potatoes and meats, plus beverages including coffee, milk, juices, and hot teas. The Surf Shack Oceanfront Snack & Smoothie Bar, located on the oceanfront pool deck, offers smoothies, frozen lemonade and sodas, snacks, hamburgers, and hot dogs. Starbucks is located a few blocks north at Grande Cayman Resort.

Monterey Bay Suites has multiple pools including an indoor pool deck with lazy river, kiddie pool, and hot tub, an outdoor pool deck, and a rooftop pool. The Cardio Center is open from 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM and includes treadmills, an elliptical machine, and a weight station. Families can play oceanfront cornhole. Magician Greg Holt performs weekly in the summer months. The pools at Monterey Bay are a draw for guests of any age. A 2-mile drive-through light show experience at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex features more than 2 million lights across 500 magical displays.

Monterey Bay Suites is located on the north end of Myrtle Beach near Rainbow Harbor Shopping Center (3 km), Horry County Mountain Bike Park (3 km), and Broadway at the Beach (6 km). The hotel is 15 km from Myrtle Beach International. Brookgreen Gardens is located on the south end of town.
