The property is directly on the beach with a private beach area. Carolina Opry Theater is 4 km away, and Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is 9 km (approximately a 10-15 minute drive). Myrtle Beach International Airport is 13 km. The surrounding neighborhood is less crowded than the central boardwalk, offering a relaxed setting. Within a short walk, you will find several restaurants and cafés such as Liquids Lounge & Grill, Mariner Pizza, and Café Du Port. Driving is recommended for major attractions, but on-foot access to the beach is immediate.

Room sizes vary: oceanfront suites are 47 m² (floors 3-16), while angle ocean view suites range from 575 to 55 m² (floors 10-15) and may offer more space. Each suite has a private bathroom with bath and shower, free toiletries, and hair dryer. Kitchens are equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, cookware, and coffee machine. All suites have a pull-down Murphy bed, and some include a sofa bed. Beds are either king or queen. Maximum occupancy is 6 people, with a maximum of 4 adults. The property is older, and while some suites have been renovated, others retain older furnishings and may have dated decor. Air conditioning units can be loud in certain rooms; road-facing units may experience more noise.

Breakfast is included for all reservations and features daily options such as scrambled eggs, grits, breakfast potatoes, meat, waffles or pancakes, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, juice, oatmeal, toast, and cereal. The Surf Shack Bar & Grill serves American cuisine for lunch and dinner, and also offers a cocktail hour. During summer, a Tiki bar operates by the pool from 11am to 5pm. The Bay Cafe is available for breakfast only. For additional dining variety, several restaurants are within a three- to five-minute walk, including Mexican, pizza, and American options.

All pools and hot tubs are open year-round and heated to at least 26.7 °C, with hot tubs maintained at 40.0 °C. Facilities include an indoor pool, two outdoor pools, a rooftop pool on the 10th floor, a lazy river, and a kiddie pool. Pool/beach towels are provided, and sun loungers and umbrellas are available (some at an additional charge). The fitness centre is free to use. The private beach area offers direct access with sun loungers and chairs. A children's playground and outdoor play equipment are on-site. Note that there is no spa or wellness centre.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. On-site parking is free for one vehicle per reservation in the attached garage (height clearance 6'6"). Additional street parking is available at $15 per day. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, concierge services, tour desk, and ATM.
