The walk to the main train station is uphill, so travellers with heavy luggage may prefer to take the tram one stop. Lidl supermarket is 5 minutes' walk away, and several cafes and restaurants are within 300-500 metres. The area has a nightclub opposite the building that can cause noise, especially on weekends.

Accommodation types include double rooms and apartments, all with private bathrooms featuring walk-in showers and hairdryers. Deluxe Double Rooms are available with a balcony, and some apartments include a terrace and a kitchen with a stove. All rooms have a fridge, electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and heating. Rooms without air conditioning can become very hot in summer; opening windows may let in street noise from the nightclub opposite, so light sleepers should request a quieter room away from the street.
