The hotel's location in the historic Warehouse District puts it right across from the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, making it ideal for conference attendees. The French Quarter is about 2 km away, a 20- to 30-minute walk along the riverfront. Cruise ship terminals are just three blocks away, and a free shuttle runs from the hotel. Streetcar lines are about four blocks away, with bus stops even closer, offering good access without a car. While the area feels safe during the day, it can become less busy after dark. For airport transfers, taxis and rideshares are available out front; the hotel does not operate an airport shuttle.

The hotel offers a variety of room types including standard guestrooms, studios, and suites. Many rooms include a microwave, refrigerator, and tea- and coffee-making facilities; select suites contain a full kitchen with a stovetop and dishwasher. Deluxe King Suites have a sofa sleeper and a massive spa tub. Double Queen rooms have a pull-out sofa and can accommodate up to four people. Road-facing rooms and those with connecting doors may allow noise from traffic or neighbours. The air conditioning works well, though some units can be temperamental. While the decor is modern and clean, guests should note that the hotel is a converted warehouse, so floors can be uneven and some rooms have sloping floors. No rooms have a balcony.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served in a large, inviting space. The buffet includes a rotating selection of two proteins (such as scrambled eggs, sausage, and Western omelets), plus breads, yogurt, juice, and make-your-own waffles. Watermelon-infused water is a popular extra. During peak hours after 8:00 AM, the area can become very crowded and the serving stations may get messy. No restaurant or bar is currently open on site, but many dining options are within walking distance, including Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken, Two Chicks Cafe, and Mulate's New Orleans, all about half a kilometre away. The hotel sells drinks and snacks at premium prices, so stocking up elsewhere is recommended.

The outdoor swimming pool is seasonal and open weather permitting, with a small but pleasant area that gets both sun and shade. Sun loungers or beach chairs are available. The fitness centre is free to use and equipped with clean, well-maintained machines, making it a convenient place for a workout during your stay. Both facilities are included in your room rate. There is no spa on site.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all public areas and guest rooms. Parking is valet-only at $44 per night plus tax; a public garage two blocks away offers a lower rate. The hotel has three lots, two of which are off-site, but on-site valet parking is available with in/out privileges. Pets up to 34.0 kg are welcome for a fee, and nearby park access may be limited.
