ST CHARLES INN, SUPERIOR HOTEL, New Orleans

The St. Charles streetcar stop is one block away, providing a direct ride to Canal Street and Bourbon Street for $1.25 per ride. The National World War II Museum is less than 3 km away, and the Aquarium of the Americas is an 8-minute drive. Magazine Street for shopping and dining is five blocks away, and numerous restaurants are within walking distance including Superior Grill (attached), The Delachaise, and Robin's Wharf Uptown. The gated on-site parking makes car-based navigation easy, though for trips to the French Quarter the streetcar is the more practical option. The Garden District offers a quieter, tree-lined setting with many historic homes within walking distance.

The grab-and-go continental breakfast includes bagels, bread, cream cheese, butter, jam, muffins, cereals, fruit cups, hard-boiled eggs, milk, juices, coffee, and tea. The breakfast is self-serve in the lobby, with outdoor patio seating available. Superior Grill, attached via a shared door from the lobby, serves Mexican food with a full bar, and is generally well-regarded. Several other restaurants such as The Delachaise and Mayfair Lounge are within a 5-minute walk. Coffee and bottled water are available in the lobby throughout the day.

There is no spa, wellness centre, swimming pool, or gym on site. The outdoor patio and terrace offer limited outdoor seating suitable for breakfast or relaxing. The Garden District provides a pleasant environment for walking tours of historic homes and streetscapes.
