Hostal Argo sits in the heart of Barcelona's Eixample district, right in front of the Concepció market. Passeig de Gràcia and Diagonal Avenue are a 4- to 5-minute walk away, putting the city's most famous modernist buildings - La Pedrera, Casa Batlló (both 8 minutes on foot), and Sagrada Família (1 km) - within a comfortable stroll. Girona metro station is 400 metres away, providing direct access to both the blue and yellow lines; the airport can be reached in 30 minutes via Passeig de Gràcia station. The area is quiet at night yet surrounded by bakeries, cafés, and restaurants, making it convenient for self-catered breakfasts and evening meals without needing to travel far.

Rooms at Hostal Argo are designed in a minimalist style with neutral tones and parquet flooring. Each includes air conditioning (centrally controlled), heating, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Free toiletries, bed linen, and towels are provided, with daily housekeeping and towel changes. Economy double rooms overlook an internal courtyard and have no street view. Superior double rooms and some doubles with a balcony include a fridge; all other room categories share a fridge and kettle in the common room. The triple room adds a fridge and is set up with one single and one large double bed. Singles contain one single bed. The apartment for up to 10 people offers a kitchen, dining area, and multiple bedrooms. Rooms can be compact, with basic storage, and road-facing rooms on lower floors may experience street noise.
