HOSTALIN BARCELONA GRAN VIA, Barcelona

The location is a major strength: two metro stations (Girona and Tetuan) are less than a three-minute walk away, providing access to different lines and making it easy to reach attractions and the beach (Barceloneta is four stops from Girona). Barcelona North Bus Station, with connections to Girona Costa Brava Airport, is a 10-minute walk. The Aerobus stop is also within easy walking distance. The surrounding area is lively, with many bars, restaurants, convenience stores, and a fresh produce market (La Concepción Market) 500 metres away. Despite the central location, street-facing rooms can be noisy, but the property's soundproofing helps reduce road noise.

Accommodation ranges from standard double rooms to superior rooms, which add a lounge area, desk, sofa bed, minibar, and coffee maker. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Standard double rooms are compact and suited to short stays for one or two adults. Some interior rooms have windows facing an internal shaft with no view, while select rooms feature a balcony with street views. The property can provide a cot (€5/night) and children under 7 can share an adult bed free of charge. Noise from adjacent rooms and the street can carry, so light sleepers may prefer a quieter room or earplugs.

The property does not have a wellness or leisure facility. For recreation, guests rely on the shared lounge with sofas, a TV, and computers. The central location provides easy access to Barcelona's parks, beaches, and cultural attractions via metro or on foot.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the building, and a computer is available in the shared lounge. Luggage storage is free for up to three days, with a €5/day fee thereafter, and can accommodate long-term storage (e.g., 5 weeks for €30). The reception operates 24 hours, but after 01:00 a €20 fee applies, and some guests have reported delays in accessing the building due to the lack of a clear sign and the need to ring an intercom or call staff. Daily housekeeping and trouser press are available on request. A safety deposit box is provided in rooms. Lift access is present, though a few steps lead to it, which can be challenging with heavy luggage. Express check-in/check-out is possible, and the property can arrange taxis.
