The hostel is less than 1 km from Plaça de Catalunya and 1 km from Casa Batlló. It is 12 km from Barcelona El Prat Airport, easily reached via the A1 airport bus (stop at Plaça de Catalunya) or metro. Urgell and Universitat metro stations are both within a 5-minute walk, giving direct access to the rest of the city. The neighbourhood is packed with supermarkets (Aldi around the corner, Dia, Mercadona), a shopping street, and numerous restaurants including La Flauta (0.5 km) and El Berro Bar Restaurante (0.5 km). The central location makes it possible to reach most major attractions on foot.

Dorms are cleaned daily. Each bed is designed with a large locker (bring your own padlock or buy one at reception for €3), an internal shelf, and a privacy curtain, which gives a good sense of personal space. The bathrooms are separate from the showers, with 4 toilets and 4 showers available; despite being shared, they are cleaned and checked 24/7. A hairdryer is available for use. Beds are comfortable with a reading light and USB ports. Towels are not included but can be rented for €2. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and the hostel enforces quiet hours at night, so while it is a social and party-focused place, sleeping is possible.

Every evening at around 20:00, the hostel staff prepare a free, filling vegetarian family dinner, often with a complimentary drink such as sangria. Vegan options are available on request. The dinners are designed to bring travellers together and are a highlight of the social atmosphere. Throughout the day, free coffee and biscuits are always available in the common area. The shared kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of utensils and a large seating area, and some basic food items may be left for use. A coffee shop operates on-site for additional drinks. The immediate neighbourhood offers many restaurants, including a Vietnamese restaurant next door with an affordable menu del día, and an Aldi supermarket around the corner for groceries.

The hostel runs a varied daily programme that includes afternoon walking tours of the city, free evening family dinners, drinking games, and themed dinner nights. Pub crawls are organised every night, with a wristband giving free entry to the club of the night. Board games and puzzles are available in the common area. The atmosphere is very social and party-oriented, with the staff actively engaging everyone, but quiet hours are respected after the activities wind down (usually around 23:00-00:00). The hostel also provides a WhatsApp group with tips and tour information.

Reception is open 24/7, though between 00:00 and 08:00 it is a limited service (staff will show you to your bed, but full check-in procedures happen in the morning). Free luggage storage is available both before check-in and after check-out. Lockers are provided in each room (bring or buy a padlock). Laundry services are available for an additional charge. The shared lounge/TV area offers a comfortable space to relax, and the tour desk can help arrange activities and provide local tips. Key-card access and smoke alarms are fitted for security. Wi-Fi is free and reliable enough for remote work. All access is by code, adding to a sense of safety. Bathrooms are stocked with toiletries such as shampoo and deodorant spray.
