The hotel sits in a quieter business district on the west side of Amsterdam, offering a peaceful base away from the city centre noise. The station provides trains, metros, trams, and buses, making travel to any part of the city easy. A SPAR supermarket is directly across the street, and several cafes and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, including Bongusta (0.5 km), Starbucks (1 km), and La Casa de Michael. The Anne Frank House and Vondelpark are 3 km away. For those driving, the underground parking garage is convenient, but note that street parking is metered and limited.

Room types range from Economy Double (no dishwasher, compact) to spacious Deluxe Apartments with separate living areas and sofas. The A'dam Favourite is the only room with a private balcony. All rooms include a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher (except Economy), microwave/oven, kettle, and utensils. Beds are generally comfortable, but some rooms have two twin mattresses pushed together rather than a single king. Noise levels vary: rooms near tram lines or on lower floors may hear traffic, while higher floors and rooms facing away are quieter. The bathrooms have a shower with a glass screen; some rooms have an open-plan wet-room style. Toiletries (shampoo, soap) and hairdryer are provided. Rooms on the ground floor may have less privacy and reduced views.

The hotel's own dining options are limited to a snack bar and vending machines for drinks and snacks. For meals, several restaurants and cafes are within walking distance: Bongusta (0.5 km), Starbucks (1 km), Beykoz Fish & Meat (1 km), Koffie Academie Sloterdijk (1 km), Grand cafe La Guardia (1 km), and La Casa de Michael (10-minute walk). A SPAR supermarket across the street allows self-catering using the fully equipped kitchen in each room. If breakfast is desired, check room availability for add-on options.

The fitness centre is free and open 24 hours, equipped with cardio machines and weights. The infra-red sauna can be booked at reception for €29.95 per hour; a key is provided to access the sauna room. There is no swimming pool or full spa. The rooftop terrace on the 4th floor is open until 11 PM and is a popular spot for relaxing, but smoking is permitted there, which may affect the atmosphere for non-smokers. The terrace has seating and views over the area.

The 24-hour reception can assist with public transport tickets, bike rental (€12 for 3 hours, €18 per 24 hours), and tourist information. Free luggage storage is available on the day of check-in and check-out. The laundry room has washing and drying machines that require tokens (€3 each), and an ironing board is available there. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property; wired connections offer speeds of at least 30 Mbps. A safety deposit box is available at reception with a €100 refundable deposit.
