The hotel is on a lively, mostly pedestrian street lined with shops, bakeries, fruit vendors, cafés and a local market. Gaité Metro Station (line 13) is 550 metres away, and Denfert-Rochereau station (line 4 and RER B) is about 8 minutes on foot. Montparnasse station is a 10-minute walk, providing direct rail access across Paris and to the airports via RER B. The 14th arrondissement is safe, calm at night and well-connected, with many restaurants and bars within a few minutes' walk. Luxembourg Garden is 1 km away.

Each room has a private bathroom with a hairdryer, but bathrooms are very small and shower-only - there is no bathtub. Some rooms have showers with only a curtain, which can cause water to spill onto the floor; rooms vary in condition depending on recent renovation. The hotel has four floors served by a small lift. Heating is available, but there is no air conditioning; fans are available on request. Light sleepers should avoid street-facing rooms or bring earplugs, as walls are thin and noise from neighbouring rooms and the street can be heard. Rooms are generally small: some cannot accommodate a fully open suitcase, and wardrobe space is limited to a few hangers. Some rooms have a desk and chair, which can make the floor plan feel tight. Bed size is a double, not a queen. Daily housekeeping is provided. Rooms at the rear tend to be quieter.

Breakfast costs €10.50-€12.50 per person and is not included in the room rate. The continental buffet includes fresh baguettes, pastries (viennoiseries), butter, jam, cheese, cereal, yoghurt and good coffee. There is no hot food like eggs or bacon, and no gluten-free options are available. The breakfast room is modern and pleasant. A vending machine with drinks and a coffee machine in the lobby are available at any time for a small fee. The street itself is full of bakeries, crêperies, bistros, restaurants and a Monoprix supermarket, offering plenty of affordable alternatives for lunch and dinner.

The 24-hour front desk allows late check-in and secure access at any hour. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after checkout, useful for exploring the city without bags. Daily housekeeping is included and towels are changed each day. The shared lounge/TV area provides a comfortable spot to relax. A concierge service is available for tickets, restaurant bookings and local advice. Fax and photocopying are free. The lift serves all four floors but is small. The hotel has key-card access and security features including fire extinguishers, smoke alarms and a security alarm. There is a designated smoking area. Rooms are non-smoking. Cots are available on request. No pets allowed. No fridge, kettle or microwave in rooms, but the reception can help with fridge storage.
