HOTEL LYONNAIS, Nice

The hotel is within walking distance of key landmarks: Avenue Jean Medecin (400 m), Castle Hill of Nice (2 km), and the Russian Orthodox Cathedral (15-minute walk). Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is 6 km away. The area is well served by public transport, with a tram stop 2 minutes away, and is surrounded by shops, supermarkets, bakeries, and a wide range of restaurants and fast-food options within 300 m. The beach and all major attractions are accessible on foot or by tram, making a car unnecessary.

Accommodation options range from single rooms to twin and studio rooms, with room sizes often compact and furnished minimally. Private bathrooms are fitted with a shower and hairdryer, while some rooms may have a shared toilet on the landing. All rooms have windows (some open onto a courtyard) and heating. Air conditioning is available but controlled from reception-no remote is provided in the room. There are no balconies or minibars. Some rooms have been recently renovated, but the building itself is older and can feel dated. Noise from other rooms and the street is audible, so light sleepers may want to consider earplugs.

A continental breakfast is served; the details of its cost and selection are provided at the time of booking. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but the shared kitchen (available during reception hours) is equipped with a microwave, fridge, coffee machine, and basic utensils for self-catering. A Lidl supermarket and Carrefour are within walking distance, along with numerous bakeries, restaurants, and pizzerias in the surrounding streets.

There are no leisure facilities on the property. The beach is a 13-minute walk, and the city's parks, historic sites, and the port for boating are all accessible on foot or by tram.
