HOTEL-PENSION WILD, Vienna

The hotel is situated in a calm, safe neighbourhood within the elegant Josefstadt district, just off the Ringstraße boulevard. The Museum Quarter, Vienna City Hall, and St. Stephen's Cathedral are all within a 15-20 minute walk, making it an ideal base for exploring the historic centre on foot. Several tram and metro stops are a 2-10 minute walk away, providing easy connections across the city. Numerous restaurants, cafés, bars, and grocery stores are within a 2-5 minute walk. Public parking is available in a nearby garage for a fee, as there is no on-site parking.

The hotel offers a range of room types, including single, double/twin, and family rooms, as well as an apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. Rooms are simply furnished and vary in size, with some described as very spacious and others as compact. Most rooms are carpeted, have parquet floors, and include a sitting area, dining table, tea/coffee facilities, and an alarm clock. Street-facing rooms may let in light from outside, so light sleepers may prefer a courtyard-facing room. Apartments are located either in the main building or across the street; the latter require a short walk to the main building for breakfast. Heating is available, but some rooms lack individual temperature control. All rooms have opening windows; no air conditioning is installed. The apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, cookware, and a dining table. Private bathrooms are available in some room types, while others have a shower with a shared toilet or a fully shared bathroom. Daily maid service is included in the rate.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and is served as a buffet in a dedicated breakfast room. The selection includes fresh bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, and coffee or tea brought to the table. The buffet is a self-service arrangement, and replenishment is not guaranteed after 09:00, so arriving earlier gives the fullest choice. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar, but the surrounding streets offer a wide range of dining options within a 2- to 5-minute walk, including Italian, Mexican, Asian, and traditional Viennese cuisine.

There are no on-site wellness or leisure facilities such as a spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre. However, the hotel's central location places many of Vienna's top cultural attractions within easy walking distance, including the Museum Quarter, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, the Naturhistorisches Museum, the Burggarten, and the Hofburg Palace. Several parks and gardens are also within a short walk.
