The hotel sits in the heart of the city, just 1 km from Malaga Train Station and a 10-15 minute walk from the Picasso Museum, Alcazaba fortifications, Roman theatre and Malaga Cathedral. The main shopping streets, tapas bars and restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Malagueta Beach is a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride (€1.40). A bus stop and metro station (Alameda) are nearby, with the C1 train line offering direct service to the airport in 12-15 minutes. Taxis to the airport cost around €15-20. The football stadium is about 15 minutes on foot. The immediate area includes shops, bars and several cafés and eateries.

Rooms are notably small - the typical layout has a double bed on the floor with a single bunk above it, making the space tight for more than one person. The private bathroom is split: the sink is in the main room next to the bed, while the toilet is in a separate cubicle and the shower in another. Toilet doors have no lock and leave gaps at top and bottom, so privacy is limited. Wardrobes are absent; shelf space is minimal. Towels are thin and bedding may feel worn. Air conditioning works well in warm weather, but cannot be controlled to a specific temperature - it operates in a fixed cooling mode. Windows are soundproofed, though rooms facing the street may still hear outside noise. Daily housekeeping is included, but the room will not be serviced if clothes or items are left on the bed.

A continental buffet breakfast is served daily from 06:30 to 11:00 (until 12:00 on weekends) at a cost of approximately €9 per person. The selection includes cold items such as pastries, bread, meats, cheese and hot drinks, plus a kid-friendly buffet. While the breakfast is considered adequate and good value by many, those seeking a larger variety might prefer one of the many cafés and bakeries within 3-5 minutes' walk.
