IVY HOUSE HOTEL, London

Ivy House Hotel is situated in a safe Victorian row near the heart of London. Victoria Train Station (3 min walk) and Victoria Underground Station (600 m) provide fast connections across the city and to Gatwick Airport. The area is walkable: Buckingham Palace is 16 minutes on foot, St James's Park is 2 km, and Westminster Abbey is 2 km. Numerous cafes, restaurants, and convenience shops are within a short stroll. London City Airport is 17 km away.

The hotel offers single, double, twin, family, and quadruple rooms. Bed sizes are small (standard double is a small double bed). Rooms are carpeted and include heating, an electric kettle, and tea/coffee supplies. Some rooms are located in the basement or on the top floor. Basement rooms are more prone to dampness and noise. Many rooms are very small - the space is best for a one-night stay or for travelers who plan to be out most of the day. A fan is provided as there is no air conditioning. Request a room on an upper floor for better light and less street or railway noise. The property is a Victorian conversion with narrow stairs and no lift.

WiFi is free and accessible in all areas, though connectivity can be inconsistent in some rooms. Reception hours are 14:00-22:00; after 22:00 there is no on-site staff and the phone number is not answered. Late check-in after 22:00 is charged. Check-out is by 10:00-11:00; a late check-out fee of £30 applies if not met. Pets are not allowed. The hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Discover, Bankcard, and UnionPay.
