B&B LA BOUTIQUE BY RJGAL - DUOMO VIEW ROOMS, Florence

The property sits at the edge of the historic centre, placing Santa Maria Novella station less than 5 minutes away on foot - ideal for train arrivals and day trips into Tuscany. The Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, and Palazzo Vecchio are all reachable within a 10-15 minute walk. While the immediate area around the station feels busy and has a typical station-edge character, the location provides direct tram access to the airport and other city zones. Road-facing rooms face a tram line and main road, which can be noisy; inner courtyard rooms are noticeably quieter.

The accommodation offers a mix of double, triple, and suite layouts, all with private bathrooms featuring a walk-in shower, free toiletries, and bathrobes. Each unit includes a kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, kettle, and tea/coffee-making supplies, as well as a minibar. Soundproof walls help reduce street noise in most rooms, but road-facing units still pick up tram and traffic sounds - inner courtyard rooms are the best choice for lighter sleepers. Suites include a separate living room and a private terrace with city views. All rooms are renovated and clean, with comfortable beds and a parquet floor finish.

The breakfast included in the rate is served at L'Opera Caffè, located directly in front of the Duomo. The menu offers a choice of omelettes, croissants, cakes, juices, and hot drinks, with gluten-free options available on request. A 30% discount on additional food and drink is offered to guests at the café, which also serves brunch, lunch, dinner, and high tea. Breakfast-to-go can be arranged for early departures. For those preferring to eat before heading out, a few cafés and bars are located directly below the building, including Fratelli Cuore and Bar Maja.

Leisure options are limited to on-site amenities: a sun terrace with outdoor furniture and a shared lounge/TV area. For families, indoor and outdoor children's play equipment is available, and the shared kitchen is accessible for guest use. The property does not include a pool, spa, or gym. The location, however, places guests within walking distance of Florence's main cultural attractions, including the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia.

The property provides free Wi-Fi throughout, a shared kitchen for basic meal prep, and a shared lounge. A concierge service is available, and the automated check-in/express check-out system is managed entirely through pre-arrival instructions. Luggage storage is free of charge before check-in and after checkout. Daily housekeeping includes bed-making and trash removal but does not replace towels unless requested. A snack bar and packed lunches are available, and room service can be arranged for breakfast delivery. The building has a lift, is fully non-smoking, and offers soundproof rooms and allergy-free options. Parking is available at a nearby public garage for €35 per day, with accessible spaces and an electric vehicle charging station.
