HOTEL MEDA OF MUSEUM KAMPA, Prague

Hotel Meda is situated on a quiet residential side street in the Dejvice district, yet offers excellent transport connections. The metro station Dejvická (line A) is a 2-minute walk, placing Charles Bridge and the Old Town just two stops away. Tram lines 8, 18, 20 and 26 stop nearby, providing direct links to the city centre and the airport (25 minutes by public transport). The surrounding neighbourhood is well-served with a supermarket (Albert), bakeries, and a wide variety of restaurants and cafés within a few minutes' walk. For early-morning airport departures, the location is very convenient by public transport.

The rooms at Hotel Meda are clean and practical, though the furnishings and decor reflect an older standard. Each room features a private bathroom with a shower (some with bathtub), a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, and a wardrobe. Several rooms have a balcony, and triple rooms are available. Beds can be separated upon request but remain in the same room. There is no air conditioning; a ceiling fan is provided, and windows can be opened. Noise insulation is limited - rooms facing the street or near the elevator can be noisier. Some rooms are more spacious than others; higher floors tend to be quieter. A fridge is present in many rooms. Limited power outlets near the bed may require a multi-plug adapter for charging devices.

Wellness facilities are limited but include access to fitness and spa locker rooms at no charge. The hotel also offers free hiking and cycling opportunities, ideal for exploring the area. Temporary art galleries are another complimentary activity available during certain periods. These leisure options are a practical bonus for guests looking to stay active or experience local culture without additional expense.

Hotel Meda operates a 24-hour front desk, allowing late arrivals and early departures. Free WiFi is available throughout the building. Luggage storage is offered for a fee of 50 CZK per day, useful for guests with flights after check-out. A safety deposit box can be used with a 10 EUR deposit. Daily housekeeping is included. The hotel has a lift (small capacity), a shared lounge/TV area, and a terrace with outdoor furniture. Paid services include a shuttle, public transport tickets, and meeting/banquet facilities. Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are available. No pets are allowed. The property is non-smoking indoors, but a designated smoking balcony is provided.
