HOTEL MILANI, Rome

The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Termini, giving direct metro access to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain (20 minutes on foot), and the Vatican (about 1 hour walking). The surrounding streets have many restaurants, supermarkets, and cafés, all within 300 metres. The immediate area is busy and well-lit, though the street nearest the hotel can feel less polished at night. From the second floor facing Via Magenta, street noise from traffic and passers-by is clearly audible; higher floors or rooms away from the main road are noticeably quieter. For airport transfers, use the train from Termini or arrange a private car service (fixed rates: 60€-75€ to FCO).

Room options include Small Double (17 m2, queen bed), Standard Double (20-21 m2, king or twin on request), Superior Double (23 m2, with bathtub or shower, safe, slippers, kettle), Triple (25 m2, king + single or three singles), and Quadruple (27 m2, king or twin). All rooms have private bathrooms, a hairdryer, and hypoallergenic options. Soundproofing between rooms and from the corridor is limited - noise from neighbouring rooms, hallway activity, and the lift can be heard. Rooms on lower floors may have less natural light due to the narrow street. Air conditioning effectiveness has varied; some units may need a request to reception for optimal performance. The lift is small, and no rooms have balconies. Daily housekeeping is provided with fresh towels, and storage is available for early arrivals or late departures.

Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh pastries, cakes, bread, cheese, ham, fruit, yogurt, cereals, and coffee. Special diets (celiac, vegetarian, gluten-free) can be accommodated on request. The breakfast room can feel crowded during peak hours. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but discounted rates are offered at a bar next door for coffee, drinks, and snacks. Several restaurants serving Italian, Chinese, and pizza are within a 3-minute walk. A to-go breakfast bag is available on request for early departures before 07:30.

The hotel offers complimentary walking tours, tours of local culture, and cooking classes - all free of charge and bookable at reception. The fitness centre is equipped for basic workouts. No pool, spa, or wellness centre is present on the property.
