The hostel is located 100 metres from Masjid Jamek LRT station, providing direct rail access to KL Sentral and the airport via connecting train or bus. Within a 10-15 minute walk you reach Petaling Street (Chinatown), REXKL, and the Central Market. Berjaya Times Square and the Petronas Twin Towers are within a 2 km radius. The surrounding streets are lively with hawker stalls, budget restaurants, Indian eateries, and cafés. Heavy traffic and construction noise can be expected, particularly in rooms facing the main road. This central location is most useful for backpackers and solo travellers who rely on public transport rather than a car.

Accommodation ranges from single capsule rooms (a small enclosed bed with a door, key-card access, a power socket, light, and limited luggage space under the bed) to private twin rooms with shared or private bathrooms, and family rooms with private bathrooms and balconies overlooking the pool. Double and twin rooms with pool views include air conditioning, a washing machine, a seating area, and an electric kettle. Some rooms have no windows - confirm your preference at booking. Noise is a known factor: traffic from the main road, vibration from passing vehicles, and music from the café-restaurant until 23:00 affect rooms on both the street and pool sides. Light sleepers should request an interior-facing room or bring earplugs. The capsule and dormitory rooms have partial-height dividing walls, so light and sound from neighbouring pods carry.

The on-site restaurant, Kafe Kleptokrat, serves Malaysian cuisine with halal options for brunch, lunch, and dinner, and has a terrace seating area with views of the pool. Opening hours are Monday-Thursday 10:00-20:00, Friday 10:00-21:00, Saturday and Sunday 08:00-21:00. Breakfast is available at the partner café (Lokl or Timothy Cafe) using a 20% discount for hostel guests - the café serves cappuccino and breakfast items, not a traditional buffet. A wide range of cheap local food options, including Briyani Village, Betel Leaf, and hawker stalls in Chinatown, are within a 5-minute walk. The hostel does not provide free tea/coffee in the shared kitchen, but free coffee or tea is available at the partner café in the morning.

The 24-hour front desk handles late-night check-ins (2 AM arrivals are accepted with a confirmed booking, no extra fee). Luggage storage is available from early morning (e.g. 6-7 AM) for those arriving before check-in. The shared kitchen is functional but basic - lacking complimentary tea/coffee, cutlery, and adequate space. Shared lounges include a TV area with Netflix and a smoking room.
