Frequent buses from the stop directly outside the property run to the city centre (15-20 minutes), University College Dublin, and Dublin Airport. The Aircoach 700 also stops at the Hampton Hotel stop on Morehampton Road, providing a direct airport connection for about €10 each way. Nearby landmarks include the RDS (5 minutes on foot), Aviva Stadium (under 2 km), and Herbert Park. The area is quiet and residential, with a supermarket, pharmacy, and several pubs and restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk on Donnybrook Road. A taxi from the city centre costs approximately €15-20 and takes about 15 minutes.

The property offers a range of room sizes, from compact singles suitable for short stays to spacious doubles with large Georgian windows and city views. Triple rooms with one double and one single bed are available for families, and baby cots can be provided upon request. All rooms include a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, free toiletries, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a wardrobe, an electric kettle, and carpeted floors. Room conditions vary: some rooms are described as spacious and bright with dual-aspect windows and high ceilings, while others - particularly singles and basement rooms - are reported to be very small, with dated decor and occasional damp or musty smells. Road-facing rooms and rooms above the boiler or on lower floors experience significant noise from traffic, internal plumbing, and other guests. Single-glazed windows in older rooms do not block outside noise effectively. For a quieter stay, request a rear-facing room on an upper floor. Daily housekeeping is provided.
