Porte Dorée metro station (Line8) is about 400m away, providing a direct connection to Opéra Bastille (4km), Place de la République (5.4km), Notre Dame (6km), Louvre (6km), and Pompidou Centre (6km). The Eiffel Tower is roughly 30minutes by metro. Gare du Nord (Eurostar stop) is approximately 30minutes away via metro (Line8 to Bastille, then Line5). From CDG airport, take RERB to Cité Universitaire, then tramT3A to Porte Dorée station - the hotel is 500m from the stop. Orly Airport is 12km away. The area is well served by buses, trams, and Ubers (about €15-25 to the centre). Across the road lies the huge Bois de Vincennes park with lakes, jogging trails, a pagoda, and the Parc Floral botanical garden. Dozens of restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and shops are within walking distance.

All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries; the shower is spacious and the water pressure is generally good. The room size is typical for Paris - adequate for one or two people, but limited space for opening large suitcases. Bed options: Queen (one 1.60m mattress) or King (two 0.90m mattresses pushed together). Some rooms offer a view of the park lake or, from high floors on the park side, even a partial Eiffel Tower view. Windows can be opened but road-facing rooms may experience traffic noise. Soundproofing is effective with windows closed. The thermostat can be awkward to adjust, and the central AC/heating system may keep rooms warmer than desired outside summer months - requesting a room on a cooler side of the building or at a higher floor with better airflow is a practical workaround. No kettle, minibar, telephone, iron, or cupboard in the room; a safe and a few hanging hooks are provided. The carpet is clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the design is modern with street-art motifs. Daily housekeeping is limited to making the bed and replacing towels; for sheet or deep cleaning changes an explicit request is required.
