The area is lively day and night, with numerous bars, restaurants, and coffee shops within a few minutes' walk. Despite the central location, the hotel is tucked away on a quieter side street. The location is ideal for exploring on foot, and public transport is readily available. However, the immediate area can be noisy late at night, especially on weekends.

Private rooms range from twin to group en-suite rooms, each with a private bathroom with shower. Shared dorms are available for 6, 8, or 10 persons, with bunk beds and shared bathroom facilities. Rooms are basic and functional: each has heating, a wardrobe, and free Wi-Fi (though signal may be weak on upper floors).
