MOXY NASHVILLE DOWNTOWN, Nashville

Moxy Nashville Downtown sits on the corner of lower Broadway, placing you directly amid the city's live music scene - bars, honky-tonks, and clubs are a few steps from the front door. The Johnny Cash Museum is across the street, Ryman Auditorium is a 4-minute walk, and Bridgestone Arena is 400 metres away. Nissan Stadium is a 15-minute walk. Nashville International Airport is 9 km away. Parking is at a premium: valet is available for $45-$55/night or a $10/day self-parking option exists one block away. The pedestrian access is excellent, but street-facing rooms can be loud until 2:30 AM from surrounding rooftop bars and clubs.

Rooms are small and designed with a loft-like efficiency: a peg rail with four hangers replaces the closet, a folding table and chair hang on the wall, and there is no dresser or nightstand in smaller configurations. Bed options include king and double-queen setups. The bathroom features a walk-in shower with a half glass wall, a hair dryer, and a clothes steamer; the sink shelf is low and may make leaning forward awkward. Some rooms have a built-in white noise machine. Windowless rooms exist and can feel claustrophobic. The air conditioning works well but some units cannot cool below 19 °C. The bathroom fan runs continuously and can be noisy.

The hotel provides free coffee and tea in the lobby around the clock. The ground-floor bar also serves drinks and light snacks, while the rooftop restaurant offers a full menu including burgers, biscuits and gravy, and a bloody mary, with live music and food until 1 AM on weekends. The rooftop also has a weekend brunch. For other meals, more than a dozen restaurants are within a 2-minute walk, including Sun Diner Nashville, The Southern, and Merchants Restaurant.

The hotel features a compact fitness centre with free weights and cardio equipment. Leisure activities are focused on the lively ground-floor space: a pool table, shuffleboard, board games, and live music performances run throughout the day and evening. The rooftop also offers live music. The hotel does not have a pool or spa.

Wi-Fi is free in all public areas. The 24-hour front desk is staffed by one person who also serves as bartender, which can cause short waits during peak times. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, and lockers are provided. Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are offered. A business centre and an ironing room are available on-site. The hotel is accessible with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, a lift, and tactile signage. Pets are allowed for a $75 fee.
