The metro station provides quick connections across Madrid, including to Atocha train station (20 minutes' walk or a short metro ride) and the airport (about 40 minutes by public transport). Several restaurants and cafés are within a few minutes' walk, and a large Sunday market is nearby. The area is walkable to most city-centre sights, making car use unnecessary.

Private rooms come with a double bed, flat-screen TV, desk, and private bathroom. Family rooms accommodate up to 6 beds and are located on upper floors reachable by lift. Dormitories have bunk beds with large lockers underneath, individual lights and USB plugs, and a private bathroom with a separate sink area outside the bathroom. Some rooms include a balcony. Bottom bunks have privacy curtains; top bunks do not. The rooms are cleaned twice daily. Noise from neighbouring rooms and street traffic can be an issue, especially in rooms facing the road. Rooms are generally functional and well-maintained, though some have been noted as compact for two people.

The restaurant offers a menu with American, Spanish, and international cuisine, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free dishes available. A three-course dinner is available for a reasonable price (around €6). The bar serves sangria, wine, and a selection of drinks. Coffee, tea, and water are available free of charge in the common area throughout the day. A shared kitchen is also available for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals. The hostel can accommodate special dietary menus on request.

The hostel organises daily walking tours (tip-based) and pub crawls (additional charge), which are popular for meeting other travellers.
