OKU APARTMENT, Tokyo

Oku Apartment sits in a quiet residential neighbourhood of Arakawa-ku. The nearest station, Oku, is about a 7-minute walk away and connects directly to Ueno (6 minutes) and Tokyo Station (12 minutes) on the JR Takasaki Line. The area also has a tram station and bus stops, with buses serving Asakusa and Sensoji Temple. Haneda Airport is 26 km away, and Narita is accessible via the Skyliner from Ueno. Several convenience stores, a supermarket, and numerous small restaurants are within a short walk. The peaceful area is suitable for travellers who prefer a calm base with easy rail access to central Tokyo over a bustling city-centre location.

Each apartment is a private unit featuring a private bathroom with bath, shower, and bidet. Rooms include a seating area, air conditioning, heating, and free toiletries. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle, but is not set up for full cooking - better suited for storing snacks and reheating prepared food. Room sizes are compact, particularly for four people, as the space may not comfortably accommodate opening two suitcases at once. Beds are moderately comfortable, with some rooms offering a balcony. Rooms are on upper floors (no elevator), which requires carrying luggage up narrow stairs. The accommodation is clean and functional, aligning with the property's budget price point.
